Extensive coverage of Dui Hua's work in both the US and international media has helped to establish the foundation's reputation as an authority on human rights in China. Articles on Dui Hua have appeared frequently in many of the world’s leading newspapers and magazines, and the foundation's work has been covered by major news services and online news outlets.

The article "John Kamm’s Third Way," which ran as the cover story in an edition of The New York Times Sunday Magazine, thrust the foundation into full view of the press, particularly media professionals focused on human rights issues. The lengthy feature article was written by Tina Rosenberg, a winner of both a Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award.  After attracting interest in the news world, the piece was reprinted by the South China Morning Post as the cover story in its Sunday magazine, and several European newspapers went on to publish their own articles on Kamm and Dui Hua's work.
