Dui Hua issues statements to the press on the foundation’s role in Chinese prisoner cases, especially its work to secure sentence reductions and early releases. Dui Hua's statements in August 2007 about the cases of Shi Tao and Wang Xiaoning renewed media and public interest in their cases.
