The Dui Hua Foundation focuses its programs and activities in these areas:

 

Human Rights Advocacy

Dui Hua engages in a well-informed dialogue that focuses on securing the release and better treatment of political and religious prisoners in China, as well as promoting transparency, accountability, and rule of law.

 

Research

Dui Hua conducts a global search of official Chinese publications to uncover information about prisoner cases as well as regulations, statistics, and other information about the Chinese legal and penal systems.

 

Databases

Dui Hua maintains a database of political and religious detainees in China that is considered the most detailed and comprehensive registry of its kind. The foundation also has a database for recording mass incidents in China.

 

Publications & Outreach

Dui Hua produces materials promoting human rights in both the United States and China and disseminates information gathered on human rights to a wide variety of audiences. Dui Hua publishes a quarterly newsletter, Dialogue, and a series of "Occasional Publications."
